On my way to Antarctica, I stopped by Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I used to think that this street is just made to look colorful. But it really is very colorful.
I went to Argentina without much expectation. I was there because of the Antarctica trip.
All the ships that travel to Antarctica embark from Ushuaia, the southern most port of Argentina. So Argentina was not the main attraction at all.
But I stayed in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, for five days, and I’m really gald that I got to experience South America during this trip.
Caminito (“little walkway” or “little path” in Spanish) is a street museum and a traditional alley, located in La Boca, a neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The place acquired cultural significance because it inspired the music for the famous tango “Caminito (1926)”, composed by Juan de Dios Filiberto.
