Ravintola Kuukuu, Helsinki

I was in Helsinki recently to attend the Creator Summit 2026 for Clash Royale. The event lasted for three days, and I’ve decided to stay for a few more days to explore the city and try out some more restaurants.
Ravintola Kuukuu was one such restaurant I tried out. No one told me about it — I actually found it via Perplexity, where I asked for a place in Helsinki that’s down to earth but with incredible food. And it delivers — very yummy food in a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The service was also very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
Nearly every restaurant I’ve been to in Helsinki said that they had “the best Salmon soup,” but none of them actually delivered — until I’ve tried the one at Kuukuu. It was creamy, flavorful, and just the right amount of saltiness. I had the fish as my mains, which was cooked to perfection, and finished my meal with a moist carrot cake with ginger ice cream.
